desaignspace is an architectural lighting design studio based in the Dallas Forth Worth (DFW) metro area. We relish opportunities to collaborate with architects, interior designers, and developers to provide refined lighting solutions tailored to every space.
With our diverse backgrounds and experience in commercial interiors and architecture, we offer our clients a broad expertise that allows us the ability to devise creative solutions for projects large and small.
Our founder, Desai A. Henderson, is a Caribbean American designer with a master’s degree in lighting design from Parsons School of Design and B. of Architecture from Tuskegee University. Since graduation he has worked on local and international projects crafting lighting design solutions that birthed sensible and inviting spaces. His close collaboration with various lighting manufactures and fabricators allows him to use light as a medium to enhance architectural objectives and transforming spaces in the process. His experience includes working with German manufacture Erco, as well as NYC based lighting design firms Bliss Fasman & Tirschwell & Co, where his projects included retail, commercial interiors and high end residential.
